Allen’s Hummingbird – Signed Fine Art Print

Artist’s notes: The drawing of an Allen’s Hummingbird was completed on 5.14.2011. This is the fifth illustration I’ve done of a hummingbird. Like the previous images, I chose to show the bird in flight, as I think this is the most attractive view of the animal. I had considered adding a flower to the drawing, but that would be somewhat incongruous with the other renderings. The drawing is based on a photo by David Marotta. Buy a Digital Download
