Description Kota Doria is a hand-woven fabric with a distinctive square pattern. The exquisite quality of the yarn, its agility and softness, which are created by polishing the warp yarn with a particular starch or ‘kanji’, are the distinguishing features of this fabric. Different counts of cotton yarns or a blend of silk and cotton yarns are differentially woven to create the checkered pattern. The checked pattern is termed as ‘khat’, and is one of the distinguishing feature of this hand woven fabric. Kota Doria is a very fine weave and are light weight. COLOR: Please note that slight variation in color from the product image is inevitable due to the lighting conditions and the camera being used is different each time. We try to depict a natural perspective through our product images and also, the models are not professionals.
