Allow me to introduce myself,

I have always had dogs in my life, but when I married Peter ( in 1978 ) I went in to the breeding  of dogs as a hobby.

We started with Rottweiler's, I have bred them and Peter trained our own dogs in police work at a Rottweiler club where he also trained other members of the club.

Later on I when over to another breed, the Neapolitan Mastiff, I have bred with them for many years and not unsuccessfully. I have shown them all over Europe and had quite some name in the Neapolitan Mastiff world.

At that time Peter was a member of the board of the Dutch-Neo-club and he took it upon him to get the recognition for this club of the Dutch National kennel club.  Peter was also a honoree member of the Italian   “ Circolo Amatore Cane e Presa” ,  a breeders-club that was only for the best breeders of the Neapolitan Mastiff  in Italy.

One of myself bred Neo’s became “best self bred Neo” at the ATIMANA  show where Neo’s participated from all over the World.

Peter had in that time a column in a dog magazine “Dog’s With Spirit”, because he had specialist himself in dogs that had a disorder in behaviour, he wrote about this in his column and trained the owners of these dogs in a special way in order to get the dog's of these owners in a socially accaptable behaviour.

In the Netherlands a breeder can become a certified licensed breeder by study, that’s what Peter became in 1982 and he was the first in the Netherlands who got this license by study.

This license also give the opportunity to start and own a  dog training school, we started our school in 1983. We had this school for thirteen years.

At that time there was a Corgi breeder that was visiting our school with here Pembroke’s in order to train them for the dog shows.

For myself I had a other, small breed in the kennel because in the meantime I became a certified licensed dog groomer, so I had some Westie’s  but I liked the Pembroke’s from the first time I met them because they were so friendly by nature, something a Westie is not, the Westie is too much a terrier.

At the time, that we had the dog school, my daughter ( Rebecca, then 10 years of age ) wanted a dog of her own and she had a fancy for the Welsh Corgi Pembroke because she know the breed so well in the meantime by the visits of the breeder of the Pembroke at our dog school.  She got here Pembroke, our first, in 1996, here name was “Juul”, a wonderful bitch with a fantastic  personality , friendly to everyone especially towards the children.

A few years later also my son Norris wanted a dog of his one, and we imported a Australian Cattle dog from Australia to Holland , his name was “Kejude Blue Rover” but we named him “Ozzy".

It was really a nice and obedient dog for my son, he trained this dog for many years and toke Ozzy to many shows where Ozzy became National and International Champion  and two times Amsterdam Winner.

After seven years Ozzy passed away and we took a other dog, this time once more  a Pembroke Welsh Corgi because of our experience with the first one, this time a male dog of the same breeder, he is called “Roy Junoba’s House” but we called  him by the name “Moos”.

Moos came in the year 2003 and Juul passed away in 2005. "Moosje".

We never bred with Juul, something we regretted afterword’s because she had such a nice character.

In 2006 we took it upon us to look for a nice hobby to do together, and after a few minutes we know that it should be something concerning dogs.

Now we are breeders of the Pembroke with the kennel name Y Ddraig Goch  Our kennel is a member of the Dutch Club for the Pembroke.

We are also members of the World Union Welsh Corgi on Facebook.

Our Pembroke’s live by us in our house, they are all members of our family, they have there one  Corgi sleeping room and a large outdoor Corgi play field.
